* Delice, the European bakery that’s been a staple of the Old Market for more than 20 years, closes at the end of June. When asked why, owner Pat McDermott told the Omaha World Herald that rent had increased so much that it no longer made sense to stay in business. WheatFields intends to move into the space at 12th and Howard and open a WheatFields Express in August. |
